President and Chief Executive Officer
Scott joined LLOG in 1993 and has held several positions with the company, including Vice President of Exploration, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President. Scott has 31 years of exploration and production experience in the Texas/Louisiana onshore, shelf and deepwater regions of the Gulf of Mexico. He began his career with Superior Oil Company in 1979 and, prior to joining LLOG, held several positions with American National Petroleum Company (formerly Oxoco), including Vice President of Exploration. Scott received his Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Louisiana - Lafayette.
Chief Accounting Officer
James joined LLOG in 2003 and has numerous responsibilities including financial reporting and risk management. His 34 years of industry experience includes 16 years as the Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer for Callon Petroleum Company. Prior to joining Callon, he was employed by the audit division of Arthur Andersen. James received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Mississippi State University.
Chief Administrative Officer and Secretary
Kem joined LLOG in 1992 and is responsible for cash management and investments. Previously, Kem worked in private wealth management and auditing for a number of companies. Kem received her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Louisiana - Monroe.
Sr. Vice President – Production/Operations
Tim joined LLOG in 1985 and has held various positions with the company, including Lead Project Engineer for Onshore, Shelf and Deepwater developments. Since 2006, Tim has coordinated all engineering aspects of LLOG's Gulf of Mexico operations, including decisions that involve wellbore evaluation and development options, as well as daily production optimization. Tim received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University.
Vice President – Land
Mike joined the company in 2007. During his thirty four year industry career, Mike has worked the Gulf of Mexico holding various land positions with Enserch Exploration, Mariner Energy and Newfield Exploration. Mike received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Land Management and Finance from the University of Texas.
Vice President – Deepwater Exploration
Jay joined LLOG in 2000 as an exploration geophysicist and has 24 years of industry experience. Prior to joining LLOG, Jay held a variety of senior geophysical positions in Shell Oil Company's Deepwater group. Jay received his Bachelor of Science in Geology from Nicholls State University and his Master of Science in Geophysics from Texas A&M University.
Vice President – Facilities
Bruce joined LLOG in 2001 and has 24 years of industry experience. Prior to joining LLOG, Bruce worked for Texaco USA and Texaco North Sea UK for 12 years. He has extensive experience with subsea and deepwater development projects, including Texaco's first deepwater development in the Gulf of Mexico. Bruce received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisiana - Lafayette.
Vice President – Exploration
John joined LLOG in 2002. He has worked and managed several exploration and production projects in the Gulf Coast onshore and Gulf of Mexico since joining the company. He has over 27 years of industry experience, including serving as the President of Linder-Doughtie Energy prior to joining LLOG. John received his Bachelor of Science in Geology from University of Oklahoma.
Vice President – Deepwater Projects
Rick joined LLOG in 2007. Previously, he was employed by ExxonMobil for 13 years in various reservoir engineering and operational assignments and then by Dominion Exploration & Production (formerly CNG Producing) for 12 years. At Dominion, Rick was heavily involved in all of the company's deepwater projects and ultimately in charge of the $5 billion Offshore Business Unit. Rick received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tulane University.
Vice President – Shelf and Onshore Exploration
Malloy joined LLOG in 1998 and has 29 years of industry experience, primarily in the Gulf Coast Basin. He began his career with Hawthorne Oil and Gas as a development geologist and has also worked for Apache Corporation, American National Petroleum, and Hilcorp Energy. Malloy received his Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Louisiana - Lafayette.
Vice President & General Counsel
George joined LLOG in early 2012 after 32 years at Phelps Dunbar LLP, where his practice focused on oilfield and maritime matters. In 1979 George received his Law degree from Louisiana State University.
Vice President – Drilling
Joe joined LLOG in early 2012 and has over 31 years of industry experience in drilling, both onshore and offshore. He began his career working the Wyoming overthrust belt as a mud engineer before joining Shell. While at Shell, Joe held a variety of roles predominately in the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico. He worked as the project drilling engineer on Deepwater exploration wells and major Deepwater Developments such as Mars, a deepwater drilling superintendent on a variety of rigs and structures, the GOM Subsea Development Manager, and the Well Delivery Manager covering deepwater developments in the GOM as well as shallow water developments in Venezuela. In 2011 Joe transferred to Shell International E&P as the Offshore Well Delivery Manager for Drillship and Semi-submersible operations. Joe received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Montana and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming.
Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer
Philip joined LLOG in 1997 and has held various positions in the areas of finance and planning. Prior to joining LLOG, he was a senior at Arthur Andersen in the tax department. Philip received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University and his MBA from Loyola University.
Vice President – Geology
Eric Zimmermann has worked at LLOG since 2007. He has 12 years of industry experience including BP and Dominion. Eric has focused his career on exploration and development projects in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. Eric received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Geology at Louisiana State University.
Managing Director - Acquisitions & Divestitures
Randy joined LLOG in March of 2010. With over 31 years experience in the energy industry, he has held management positions with independent and major oil and gas companies in the areas of A&D, business development, economics, engineering, investor relations, marketing, and planning. Prior to joining LLOG, Randy was the Director of Business Planning and Development for Eni Petroleum Company. Randy has Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and MBA degrees from Tulane University.
Director of Marketing & Midstream
Jack Boelte joined LLOG in 1992 and has 20 years of industry experience in marketing. He has served as Director of Marketing & Midstream for the last 10 years. Jack received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University.
